Need to know the volume flow rate of your waterfall or fountain? Our online pond flow calculators will help you determine the pipe flow rate, how much liters of water flows from a certain waterfall or fountain, and help you choose the right pipes and pumps for it. Volume flow rate calculation is just a click away.

We have provided you with two calculators, programmed to measure width flow and filtration flow for determining the right pumps to use. The calculations will measure the flow from the head or the maximum height of the waterfall to the surface of the pond.

The calculators’ measures assume that the waterfall or filter is located not far from the actual pond. A pump or filter far from the pond will require a pump with more power and longer pipe runs. Be reminded as well of the increase in head requirement if you want the waterfall to be higher than the water filter.

If you want to install a new waterfall of a particular size, you can use the first calculator t determine the right pump. If you prefer to have fish in your pond and wanted to install a filter, you can use the second calculator. This will calculate the right flow to filter your pond. Using filters also gives you the option of flowing back the filtered water back to the pond as a waterfall. Just fill in the information on the form below and click the “Calculate” button.
